    Entertainment includes DJ John Stypa, DJ Dawn Clokey, DJ Stan Slutter, the stand-up comedy of Skye Ryan, ASGRA Royalty competition, Two-Step Lessons with Gaither Pennington, and performances by the DC Cowboys and the Manhattan Prairie Dogs

Saturday, September 6

Montgomery County Fairgrounds
Admission: $15

  • Rodeo Grounds open at 9:30am
  • Competition begins at 10:30am
    Events include Calf Roping on Foot, Chute Dogging, Pole Bending, Goat Dressing.
  • Grand Entry at noon
  • Competition continues, 1-6pm
    Events include Bareback Bronc Riding, Breakaway Roping, Steer Decorating, Team Roping, Steer Riding, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Wild Drag Racing, Flag Racing. The on-site Entertainment Tent features DJ Sharon Messina, performances by the DC Lambda Squares, Beth Brockelman, Lonni La Bel, Bud Dolan, and Sonny Koerner.

  • Competition begins at 10:30am
    Events include Calf Roping on Foot, Chute Dogging, Pole Bending, Goat Dressing
  • Grand Entry at noon
  • Competition continues, 1-6pm
    Events include the Dolly Madison Race, Bareback Bronc Riding, Breakaway Roping, Steer Decorating, Team Roping, Steer Riding, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Wild Drag Racing, Flag Racing. The on-site Entertainment Tent features DJ Sharon Messina, performances by the Cody Jaymes and the Manhattan Prairie Dogs.

Directions:
– By car, take I-270 North to Exit 11 (Montgomery Village Avenue). Right on MD Route 355. Right on Perry Parkway to fairgrounds entrance.
– By Metro, take the Red Line to Shady Grove stop. A free shuttle bus will run every twenty minutes daily between the Metro and the Fairgrounds.

NO PETS allowed on rodeo grounds. Children 12 and under admitted free with paying adult.
