500 pictures from Washington DC's 2005 Capital Pride Parade and Festival


The Capital Pride Parade was held Saturday, June 11, 2005. Parade participants included some fifty floats, bands and marching contingents, plus numerous local politicians and gay celebrities like Rip Taylor, Chi Chi Larue, and Frank DeCaro.

Pennsylvania Avenue was host to The Capital Pride Festival on Sunday, June 12, 2005. Tens of thousands of visitors enjoyed Main Stage performers like Deborah Cox, Amber, Frenchie Davis, Bob Mould, BETTY, and SONiA.
