If there was ever a defition of the word Pioneer, Jo Arnone‘s name is what you would see. She comes to us from Queens New York and began her long association with Pride by marching in the 8th commemoration of the Stonewall riots in 1978. Numerous awards don’t even begin to describe the passion she has for the community and she will lend her voice as a Capital Pride Emcee for the second straight year.

Destiny B. Childs, not only can she Emcee like a pro — but as the master behind ”Freddies Follies” and a fierce competitor in the Atlantic States Gay Rodeo Association, she gives a whole new definition to the term ”Cowboy up. www.myspace.com/destinybchilds

Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C. is regarded as one of the finest gay men’s chorus in the country as well as one of Washington’s best choral groups.
