Glimpses of the Moon at Metro Stage

A sparkling romantic musical, Glimpses of the Moon focuses on two popular but penniless schemers who aim to help each other marry a millionaire — but then they fall in love. Opens with pay-what-you-can performances Wednesday, Sept. 8, and Thursday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. Running through Oct. 17. MetroStage, 1201 North Royal St., Alexandria. Tickets are $25 to $45.
