Today Show’s Kathie Lee and Hoda spiked it up in Rehoboth Beach

Hoda_KathieLee1.jpg“Today Show” hosts and LGBT community supporters Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb joined members of Rehoboth Beach’s drag volleyball teams yesterday afternoon for some campy fun in the sun.

Gifford and Kotb have family ties to the gay-friendly Rehoboth Beach area and were in town to promote their respective books. They invited the drag volleyball players and fans to the beach for a special taping to air on their show this Thursday, July 28.

The drag volleyball players have become a Rehoboth Beach tradition. Two teams have been competing every Labor Day Weekend for more than two decades. This year’s event will mark the 23rd year.
