Boy George coming to D.C. on upcoming tour

Boy George has announced Spring tour dates for the US and Canada on his website, which includes a stop in Washington, D.C.  He will perform at the 9:30 Club on Monday, April 21st and according to the site tickets go on sale tomorrow, February 13. George will be touring in support of his most recent album, the excellent “This is What I Do” which was released this past October. It includes the singles “King of Everything” and “My God,” as well as a superb cover of Yoko Ono’s classic “Death of Samantha.” 

A pop icon who first burst onto the music scene in 1982 with his band Culture Club, Boy George has scored numerous hits and recorded over a dozen albums both as a solo artist and with Culture Club. His tour begins March 30 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
