At The DC Eagle: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

The historic leather bar hosts a special midnight showing of the iconic film.

The DC Eagle is getting into the business of showing movies. Well, for one night anyway, as the venerated leather bar complex will show The Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight, April 30, at midnight.

The Sonic Transducers shadowcast the iconic film with props and lighting effects — just as they’ve done the second weekend of every month for more than seven years at Landmark’s E Street Cinema. Patrons are encouraged to dress in costume — and not just the usual leather or gear. The event is preceded at 10 p.m. by a social hour.
