Shorts presentation, $9 at Lincoln Theatre

STOFMOST OF THE films showing here are also showing elsewhere in the festival, tucked away in other short’s packages. However, of the few that are new to this, the computer-animated A Cow Walks into a Bar () is an udderly depraved look at love between bovines (it comes complete with a climactic squirt of milk). STOF () is a beautifully made story about self-forgiveness, but Madonnalogue (), a gay man’s paean to the Material Girl is such a piece of mindless, idiotic piffle, to include it as one of the best is an insult to those films surrounding it.
