Chart topping singer Neon Hitch will christen Philadelphia's new monthly gay dance party, SuperStar, this Saturday, Jan. 26.
SuperStar is being hosted at Devotion nightclub (formerly Shampoo), located at 417 N. 8th Street in downtown Philadelphia. It will open at 9 p.m., feature Devotion Vodka during an open bar from 9 to 10 p.m., and will end at 3 a.m.
Hitch will take Devotion’s center stage to sing her two #1 chart topping dance hits, "Love U Betta" and "Gold."
Joining Hitch will be DJs Joe Gautreaux, Tall Matt and Nigel Richards
"We are very excited to be launching this event with top talent like Neon Hitch and DJ Joe Gauthreaux. We are equally excited for everyone to see the new renovated space of Devotion," said promoter Bruce Yelk. "Shampoo produced so many memorable events when we were here 16 years ago. We promise to bring that energy back to Philadelphia under the Devotion name”
Yelk is producing SuperStar in partnerhip with Noel Zayas.
Advance sale tickets for the opening party are $20 for general admission and are $55 for VIP tickets (prices at the door will be higher). The VIP tickets provide access to private area and a opportunity to meet Neon Hitch after the show.
SuperStar will continue the fourth Saturday of each month, and will continue to feature a celebrity from film, stage, TV, music or the performing arts as well as top DJs. More details on the event is available at www.superstarphilly.com.
