2631759-The-Out-NYC-Hotel-Exterior-2.jpgThe idea of a $100 per night room in New York City likely excites and scares you at the same time. Let's be honest, $100 doesn't go very far in the Big Apple -- except when it's Hotel Week NYC.

Back for its third year, Hotel Week NYC will be held Jan. 3 to 12, 2014, and room rates of $100, $200 and $300 will be available at a variety of properties -- some of which typically charge upwards of $500 or more per night.

"With nearly 900 room nights sold last year, Hotel Week NYC has been a boon for visitors seeking savings after the holidays and the hotels that have unsold inventory," said Nancy J. Friedman, founder of Hotel Week NYC. "[Travelers now have] even more choices, from the trendy Ace Hotel to the brand new Jade Hotel in Greenwich Village."

As an added bonus for members of the LGBT community, nearly all of the 30 participating hotels are TAG Approved or members of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association.

A complete listing of all the participating hotels is available at njfpr.com/hotel-week. As only a limited number of rooms are available, travelers are encouraged to make reservations early.
