LGBT Economic Development Summit coming to Washington Plaza Hotel on November 3
Registration
has opened for those planning to attend Washington's first
city-sponsored LGBT Economic Development Summit, scheduled for 9:30
a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 3., at the Washington Plaza Hotel.
According
to organizers, the summit is geared toward "LGBT business
leaders and entrepreneurs," and is designed to ensure they "play
an important role in leading the economic and creative development of
the city."
A
variety of topics are scheduled to be discussed including, "Hot
Locations for Business Expansion," "LGBT Demographics,"
and "Marketing Your Business to the Press."
The
Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development; the
Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Affairs; the
Washington Economic Partnership; the Potomac Executive Network; and
the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce are organizing the
event.
The
Washington Plaza Hotel is located at 10 Thomas Circle NW. To register
