Natasha Akins calling out to her mother as she was being arrested by Houston police for shooting her Public Works co-worker Dave Whitfield, Jr, six times. Akins father claims that his daughter was dealing with harassment over her sexual orientation, however the victim, Whitfield, later denied that he personally said anything about it to Akins. The two had supposedly put a previous altercation behind them, where Mr Whitfield had knocked Akins unconscious for spitting in his face.
