For more than 20 years, the German owners and chefs of Café Berlin on Capitol Hill have faithfully recreated an authentically Deutsch dining experience, while respecting American sensibilities by aiming for a slightly lighter interpretation. Enjoy a nice Riesling with the lighter fare, while the bar's variety of German beers will undoubtedly have a nice pairing for the classical dishes. To end without biting into one of Café Berlin's expertly crafted pastries would be a monumental mistake.
