A leader in the deaf queer community, author Luczak, editor of Eyes of Desire: A Deaf Gay & Lesbian Reader, reads from Assembly Required: Notes from a Deaf Gay Life. This is his memoir about growing up lonely in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and finding his way – and coming out – at D.C.’s Gallaudet University.
