This Saturday, July 14, is Bastille Day, which isn't an actual holiday in the United States -- but it's as good an excuse as any for a Francophone-identified restaurant to throw a day-long festival. In fact, the gay-owned L'Enfant Cafe closes off the street in front of it for the occasion, which starts at 3 p.m. with can-can dancers, a food truck pavilion and beer garden. At 6 p.m., there's a "French Maid Relay Race," followed by dancing tunes from Lady Miss Kier of Deee-Lite ("Groove Is In The Heart"). The evening ends with a Masquerade Street Ball at 9 p.m. Should you go? Mais oui -- and we didn't even mention the drawing for two round-trip tickets to Paris on US Airways. L'Enfant Cafe, 2000 18th St. Tickets are $5. Call 202-319-1800 or visit lenfantcafe.com.
