MTV’s “Jersey Shore guidos” are poster boys for Village Voice’s “Queer Issue?”

An unnamed source speaking with New York Post’s “Page Six” about the reasoning behind The Village Voice‘s decision to use three straight men on the cover of their annual “Queer Issue.” Vinny Gaudagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike Sorrentino (a/k/a The Situation) appear under the title, “The Guido Ideal: MTV’s surprise hit accents the real situation: Jersey’s shore on the down-low.” Page Six says the muscled-up and overly tanned stars of MTV‘s reality show did not know what the photo shoot would be for.
