“Modern Family” wins Emmy Awards; gay couple’s kiss episode has been filmed

”Giving Eric his first gay kiss is something to be proud of. I’m sure I was his first kiss. I’ll be shocked and actually offended if I wasn’t.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, the redheaded actor who plays Mitchell on ABC’s “Modern Family.” Fans of the show love the comedic, gay dads storyline that Ferguson’s character shares with Cam, played by Eric Stonestreet; but viewers had been complaining that a gay couple on TV today should be showing some physical affection. In the real world, Ferguson is gay; Stonestreet is not. (E! Online)

Last night, he won an Emmy Award yesterday for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.” The show also won for “Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.” (Tyler’s Twitter) (Stonestreet’s Twitter)
