Five first ladies of dance at the Kennedy Center

This is an evening-length event featuring solo performances from contemporary dancers Germaine Acogny, Kennedy Center Honoree Carmen de Lavallade, Dianne McIntyre, Bebe Miller and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar. Representing three mid-20th century generations, these history-making women are masters of dance rooted in African and African-American cultures.
