Portia De Rossi, Ricky Martin on ‘Oprah’ to discuss gay lives, new books [video]

Porti de Rossi (a/k/a Portia DeGeneres) will be speaking today (Monday, November 1) on the Oprah Winfrey show about her new book. She says she had an eating disorder and was once proud to have controlled her weight down to an mere 82 pounds while appearing on ”Ally McBeal.” The Australian actress will also talk about being a lesbian, and about a horse farm that she and Ellen DeGeneres visit regularly. (Oprah) Oprah airs on ABC 7 weekdays at 4pm in the Washington, DC broadcast area.

On Tuesday’s show, Ricky Martin will face Oprah’s questions about being in the closet during his pop music career and also about what it’s like for him to be a father. He will also be singing with Joss Stone. (Oprah) Ricky Martin was in Washington, DC last month to appear at an HRC fundraiser.
