Buy a Food & Friends pie, sustain a life.

Pies

Thanksgiving is drawing near and that means it’s pie time! Food & Friends is offering four pie flavors as part of its Slice of Life pie sale. When you buy your pies from Food & Friends, not only are you serving a delicious pie to your family and guests but are helping to provide healthy, life-sustaining meals for a child or adult battling HIV/AIDS, cancer or another life-challenging illness. You can even buy a pie for a Food & Friends client — and it will be delivered on Thanksgiving Day.

This year’s pies are baked by Baguette Republic in Sterling, Va. They’re offering Homemade Apple Pies and Spiced Pumpkin Pies for $25 each. The Nutty Pecan Pie goes for $35, while a U.S. AIrways Almond Amaretto Brownie costs $45 and comes with a chance to win a $1,200 U.S. Airways Gift Card.

To order, visit sliceoflifedc.org. Sales close Thursday, November 15.
