Donations pour in for gay man after family allegedly attacks him on video

HLN’s Dr. Drew Pinsky and his opinionated panelists spoke with Pierce briefly (using the pseudonym “David”). He stated that he had suspicions there would be a confrontation that day, and that he “lived in fear of coming out to” his family. Pierce added that “what hurts the most” was that his family was “not willing to take the steps [toward acceptance] period.” A full transcript is available from CNN:
