5 LGBT winter travel picks for 2015

Palm Springs

Palm Springs is hoping to rouse gay Bears from their winter hibernation to attend the International Bear Convergence, Friday, Feb. 13, to Tuesday, Feb. 17. Last year’s inaugural event attracted more than 1,400 participants, with organizers hoping to more than double that number for 2015. The Renaissance Hotel is once again serving as the event’s host hotel, which will be exclusive to IBC attendees. The hotel will be the focus of multiple themed pool parties on its expansive 24,000 square-foot Grand Courtyard that features a 5,000 square-foot heated pool, gorgeous palm trees, multiple bars, cabanas and outdoor lounge areas with fire pits. The weekend’s entertainment will include multiple DJs and a live performance by Amber and Utra Nate. For more information, check out visitpalmsprings.com.
