Joan Osborne “brings it on home” to The Birchmere

“What if God was one of us?” Joan Osborne asked in her 1995 hit. Since then, she’s gone on to tour with the Motown band the Funk Brothers, including appearing in the band’s 2002 documentary film Standing In The Shadows of Motown, and supporting the Dixie Chicks a year later.
