Kelly Clarkson cancels tour dates, including Wolf Trap

kelly-clarksonKelly Clarkson, under doctor’s orders, announced the cancellation of several upcoming tour dates this morning, including two performances at Wolf Trap tonight, Saturday, September 12 and tomorrow, Sunday, September 13.

Clarkson issued the following statement: “So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! I can’t wait to get healthy and see y’all back on the road soon.”

Patrons who purchased tickets to the Wolf Trap show through any authorized Wolf Trap sales outlet, will receive an automatically processed refund over the next 3 weeks, with refunds directed to the original purchaser. For more information on refunds, visit wolftrap.org.

Wolf Trap issued the following statement: “The Wolf Trap Foundation sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to its ticket holders, and wishes Ms. Clarkson good health and a speedy recovery.”

Clarkson has also cancelled dates in Tampa, Fla. (9/15), West Palm Beach, Fla. (9/17), Raleigh, N.C. (9/19) and Camden, N.J. (9/20).
