As baseball comes in, a neighborhood goes out. Some may view Southeast's O Street strip -- a conglomeration of drag shows, strip bars, bathhouses and sex shops -- to be the fringe of the city's gay community. Others believe it's the heart and soul. Either way, the area is a part of D.C. gay history now living its final chapter.
