I have plenty of gay friends that I love to death, and I would never want to do or say anything to hurt their feelings, but I think it’s a term that I think that we’ve gotten used saying, but maybe not even with the intent of hurting someone’s feelings. But, it’s more important to be conscious of what you say and know that it could really be hurting someone.”
