Focus on the Family buys ad time on the Super Bowl

“There are folks who ideologically disagree with Focus on the Family in some areas… [but] we don’t anticipate any trouble.”

Focus on the Family spokesperson Gary Schneeberger, regarding the group’s 30-second commercial scheduled to appear during the broadcast of the Super Bowl XLIV, Sunday, Feb. 7 on CBS. The ad reportedly features college football star Tim Tebow and his mother sharing a personal story, and will center on the theme “Celebrate Family, Celebrate Life.” It reportedly does not take an “anti” stance, though the group’s anti-gay stance is well-documented. CBS has reportedly accepted Focus on the Family’s ad buy. (Advertising Age)
