Metro Weekly honors activists and artists with the second annual Next Generation Awards
Meet the winners of the 2010 Metro Weekly Next Generation Awards: Hyacinth Alvaran, Andrew Barnett, Harjant Gill and Amy Loudermilk. The annual Next Generation Awards honor LGBT activists, artists and leaders under the age of 30. Honorees were nominated by members of the community and selected by a committee of distinguished Washington-area LGBT leaders. The second annual Next Generation Award honorees were profiled in the April 29 edition of Metro Weekly.
