Wachowskis’ next film: Gay sex, Iraq war, Huffington and the future?

”This one’s a drama that focuses on a ‘hard R’ homosexual relationship between a U.S. soldier and an Iraqi. It’s a cinema verite-style treatment that begins in the near future and then spans back over years that include the current war in Iraq.”

Hollywood rumor circulated by Deadline.com about a possible project under development by the creative Wachowski siblings — Andy and Lana (formerly Larry). Some are speculating that this project is tied to some curious photos posted by Arianna Huffington late last year. The pair, formerly known as “The Wachowski Brothers,” are most famous for “The Matrix” series of films, as well as the lesbian thriller “Bound,” and working on “V for Vendetta”. Unfortunately, their last big project, “Speed Racer” was seen as an excessive flop. (Deadline.com)
