Real World 24 debuts: Day 1, A Big blow up over “gay cooties”
Preston: ‘You know, now you’re going to turn gay. It’s called the gay cootie.
Ryan: I’m not turning gay.
Preston: And that’s what happens. Once one of us touches you with our lips, it’s like the Princess and the Frog.
Ryan: You guys touch me, and I feel like killing myself.
Preston: And its like — WHOA! That was really harsh, dude!
An exchange of dialog from the latest installment of ”The Real World 24: New Orleans.” The show features Preston, a 22-year-old gay male from Boston, who describes himself as “having an amazing sense of fashion.” He was joking around with an overly intense Ryan, 21, who regretfully accepted a drink from a gay man at a gay bar (@ 32 minutes in the video below). Ryan, who says he went to cosmetology school and works in a salon with his dad, rubs many of his roommates the wrong way from the get go. The two “abrasive” personalities do take time to make nice in the end. Also, of local interest, Eric, 24, says he’s a comic from Arlington, VA. (MTV)
