Today in DADT Repeal: What To Watch For

Today is the vote to proceed to debate on the National Defense Authorization Act, which contains the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal amendment. Several questions remain:

Will we see any of the needed support from Republicans?

Will Reid make a move that loses Republican support?

Will the White House make a move to push for support?

Which, if any, Dems will we lose?

Will Gaga appear?

And, if the motion to proceed passes the 60-vote threshold, what’s next?
