Metro Weekly reporter Justin Stewart talks with Andrew Barnett, executive director of D.C.’s Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL) and several SMYAL youths about the rash or recent LGBTQ suicides that have garnered much attention. In solidarity with the campaign to wear purple Oct. 20 to honor the memories of those youths who committed suicide, we have changed our logo color in this video.
