Bisexual porn actor wants mandatory condom usage after test shows he’s HIV+

”That’s completely false. There is no possible way. The only person I had sex with in my personal life was my girlfriend…. AIM promised they would help me set up a doctor and get treatment. They did none of that…. Making $10,000 or $15,000 for porn isn’t worth your life.”

Derrick Burts, 24, an bisexual adult video performer who says he became HIV-positive, possibly on a gay video shoot in Florida in which performers used condoms for intercourse but not oral sex. He appeared as “Cameron Reid” and “Derek Chambers” and now wants mandatory condom usage. The LA Times reports that The Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation maintains a database of sexually transmitted diseases found in actors. And Burts here says rejects the assertion that he became HIV-positive from activities in his personal life. (LA Times)
