Jennifer Roback Morse who promotes an obscure setup called The Ruth Institute. Here she speaks with OneNewsNow, a conservative religious “news” site. They report that Morse believes that rainbows are “God’s covenant with man.” (One News Now)
Morse and her Ruth Institute appear to be an off-shoot of the National Organization for Marriage. Both entities engage in self-referencing press releases and praise for each other’s “efforts to educate the public.” Their arguments boil down to a list of reasons why they hate the idea that gay people deserve equal marriage rights, benefits, and protections. To borrow from President Brian Brown‘s anti-gay marriage argument, it’s “religious bigotry, pure and simple.” Morse even peddels clothing on her site for babies that is emblazoned with the repugnant, gay-excluding slogan: “I Believe In Natural Marriage.”
