NOM says Apple’s Steve Jobs censors pro-life, traditional marriage by killing anti-gay app [video]

”Pro-abortion and gay marriage are approved. Pro-life and traditional marriage are censored. What’s happened over the years is, the iconic Steve Jobs has become the ironic Steve Jobs. He’s become Big Brother.”
Voiceover from yet another ridiculous and stupid ad from the ridiculous but effective National Organization for Marriage. Here they are attacking the Founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, for putting the kibosh on a phony “survey” app put out by The Manhattan Declaration — a manifesto put out by a group of Christian Evangelicals who despise the idea of gay marriage equality. How NOM is connected to the Manhattan Declaration is not explained in this ad. They’ve taken heavily from Apple’s 1980s video commercial that used George Orwell‘s gloomy “1984” as a metaphor to announce a their (then) new computer system. (NOM via YouTube)
NOM is a well-funded religious & conservative political organization that helped to overturn marriage in California and Maine. The org also played a big part in blocking marriage legalization in New York State. However, their efforts to block gay marriage in Washington, DC were completely rebuffed when same-sex marriage was legalized by the DC City Council at the beginning of this year.
