Funny, uncensored music video ‘It Gets Better’ a big gay hit for Rebecca Drysdale [video]

If you’re gay or bi,
Or something in between
There’s no one meaner than
A bunch of asshole teens.

But those assholes are the
First people that you will soon forget
When you’re living life and learning
How much better it can get.

It gets better!

Lyrics from comedian and performer Rebecca Drysdale in her new video, “It Gets Better.” The dancing, musical contribution to the support campaign of the same name has logged over 100,000 views on her YouTube channel in just a few days. She says there were around 50 people involved in the making of her video, “three and a half of them were gay.” She encourages gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender teens, and other who are bullied to hang in there, because “school ends” and that’s when the opportunity to explore life begins. The clever electronic dance song reminds some of Lady Gaga‘s ”Pokerface” and others of the historical tribute heard in Madonna‘s ”Vogue.” (YouTube.com/beckdrys)
