Gay Traveler Alert: Key West and Maui are courting us

As June is LGBT Pride Month, many hotels are offering promotions to attract gay travelers. Here are two offers that were shared with Metro Weekly:

Key West, Florida

Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa is offering a warm welcome for everyone to come and be part of Key West’s “One Human Family” in honor of the annual Pride Festival taking place June 8 to 12 , 2011. During the entire month of June, guests can enjoy the hotel’s exclusive Pride Package, which includes a full breakfast at SHOR Restaurant, 20 percent of all Jala Spa services and a late check out of 1 p.m. when guests book their stay with code KWPRI.

Maui, Hawaii

In celebration of Hawaii’s recent announcement of same sex civil unions, the famed Hotel Hana-Maui has introduced a romantic “His & His; Hers & Hers Hawaiian Journey for Two” getaway package designed exclusively for the LGBT community. 

Couples will stay in beautiful Hana at the property’s intimate Sea Ranch Cottage, which boasts scenic views of Hawaii’s lush tropical greenery and dramatic ocean coastline while incorporating authentic elements of the Hawaiian culture. The all-inclusive package includes all meals, non-alcoholic beverages, daily spa treatment or activities credit, service fees, gratuities and tax all for $525 per night, per person (20% off the regular rate). 

Travel must be booked by June 1 with travel dates no later than June 30, 2011.
