Daily Show compares gayest cities: San Francisco vs. Minneapolis [video]

This past February, The Advocate website put out a rather silly ranking of the Top 15 Gayest Cities. The results attracted attention from mainstream news organizations — mostly because it named Minneapolis, Minnesota as the gayest city in America, and the “gay mecca” San Francisco came in at #11. (Washington, D.C. took the #8 spot.)

This week, The Daily Show sent Jason Jenson to explore the gay scene in both cities. He compared “old gay” (leather and sex in San Francisco) to “new gay” (homebodies and Target shoppers in Minneapolis):
