Fox News’ Roger Ailes feared gays with bombs?

”They’ll be down there protesting. Those gays.”

Words attributed to Fox News‘ Chairman Roger Ailes as part of a Rolling Stone magazine article called, “How Roger Ailes Built the Fox News Fear Factory.” The article alleges that Ailes was given a second floor corner office which led him to “fear that gay activists would try to attack him in retaliation over his hostility to gay rights.” The article describes Ailes a “barricading himself behind a massive mahogany desk” and requesting “bombproof glass.” (Rolling Stone)
