Tour Tuesday: Egypt

Spirit Journeys, which creates “opportunities for gay travelers to experience more from life and the world around them,” is offering a tour of Egyptian wonders, April 6 to 21, 2012.

Limited to 16 participants, the tour includes ten days sailing the Nile on a private dahabiya (a luxury sailing yacht) and six days at the world famous Mena House Hotel at the foot of the Great Pyramids. Participants will experience Egypt as few people ever will including a sunrise visit to the Sphinx, a camel ride and an excursion to the Valley of the Kings. The starting price is $4695 based on double occupancy and $6695 for single occupancy, and it includes most meals, accommodations and in-country travel; airfare is not included. Complete details are available here.
