LighthouseB&B.jpgRehoboth Beach’s Lighthouse Inn is among the winners of the 2012 Pink Choice Awards.

The awards recognize hotels, guest houses and inns that have excelled in providing the very best in gay and lesbian accommodation, based on the reviews and ratings submitted by their guests.

Throughout 2011, thousands of accommodation reviews were submitted to travel review website Pink Choice by its more than 10,000 members. As a result, Pink Choice named 23 award winners, its largest ever number of recipients.

PinkChoice.jpgMany previous accommodations have again made the list, and are joined for the first time by the Benchmark Inn in Provincetown, Mass.; Frog Meadow B&B and Massage Oasis for Men in Newfane, Vt.; the Inn at Stone Mill in Little Falls, N.Y.; and the Worthington Guesthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Fl., whose sister property, the Alcazar Resort, made last year’s list.

Pink Choice also gives strong recommendation to 172 properties and includes information on more than 2,500 properties in over 20 countries worldwide.

In addition to Lighthouse Inn, which also received an award in 2011 and 2010, Rehoboth Beach’s Cabana Gardens B&B, Silver Lake Guest House, and the Rams Head Inn were given recommendations as well as Alexander Inn in Philadelphia. The DC GuestHouse in Washington, D.C. was also given a recommendation; however, the property closed in December of 2011.

The complete list of 2012 award winners and recommended properties is available on the Pink Choice website.
