BREAKING: Mary J. Blige to perform at the 2012 White Party Palm Springs

Mary J. Blige.jpgWhite Party Palm Springs founder and producer Jeffrey Sanker announced today that nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer Mary J. Blige will be among the headliners of this year’s event.

Billed as the largest gay dance music festival in North America, the White Party will celebrate its 23rd anniversary the weekend of April 6 to 9 in Palm Springs, California.

Building on his reputation for attracting premier talent – that have included performances from Lady Gaga, Robyn, Ke$ha and Jennifer Lopez – Sanker has set his sights on raising the bar even higher.

“White Party 2012 is going to be a 3-D experience,” said Sanker. “Bigger and bolder LED and visual displays and immense stage and platform structures designed to stretch the limits of your imagination, the only lenses needed are your shades.”

This year’s line-up also includes some of the world’s most innovative icons in dance music, including Grammy nominees Dave Audé and Rosabel, as well as Billboard #1 remixers/producers Moto Blanco (UK), Wayne G, Manny Lehman, Hector Fonseca, Andy Almighty and red-hot rising stars such as DJs Grind, Pornstar, and Chad Jack.

Blige will perform live during White Party’s main dance party on Saturday, April 7.  Joining her will be Australian DJs NERVO, making their first appearance at a gay music festival.

Advance tickets and passes are on sale now.  Rooms at the host hotel, The Palm Springs Renaissance are sold out; however, specially discounted rooms are still available at the Hilton Palm Springs. For more information, reservations and tickets/passes, visit www.jeffreysanker.com.
