Hilton rolls out the pink carpet for gay travelers

capitalhilton.jpgAs the 2012 gay pride travel season begins, Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced yesterday the launch of its “Stay Hilton. Go Out.” package that is specially designed for gay travelers and their friends. The package is part of a wider campaign that includes sponsorship of major LGBT events and a sweepstakes offering travelers a chance to win a VIP experience at Gay Days Orlando.

“Whether attending celebrations close to home or in top destinations around the world, pride season is a peak travel period for our LGBT guests,” said Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts. “Our offer extends a warm welcome during this special time and is an extension of our presence at top community events.”

The new “Stay Hilton. Go Out.” package offers reduced room rates, double Hilton HHonors points, free high-speed Internet, late checkout when available and a free one-year digital subscription to OUT, one of the world’s leading gay magazines. Travelers can book the package at more than 140 Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations properties from Los Angeles to London and Sydney to South Beach by visiting www.hilton.com/GoOut.

In addition, today through April 29, travelers visiting www.hilton.com/GoOut can enter to win the Hilton Hotels & Resorts Gay Days Orlando Giveaway, which includes a trip to Gay Days Orlando, May 29 to June 4, 2012. The winner will receive round-trip airfare for two people, a six-night stay at Hilton Orlando, VIP passes to all Gay Days events and more.
