Sky Ferreira at U Street Music Hall

Sky Ferreira

Okay people, don’t sleep on this. Sky Ferreira was touted by various influential New York music critics as the artist-most-likely-to-breakout from the thousands who performed at last fall’s CMJ Music Marathon. And right now, tickets are still available to the Blondie-inspired rock singer/songwriter’s show at U Street Music Hall, coming a month before her delayed debut album, I’m Not Alright, is expected to surface. Which means you’ll be able to boast to your friends, when she’s back in town headlining sold-out shows at the 9:30 Club or even Constitution Hall, that you saw her back-in-the-day, up close and intimate. Seriously, all signs point to this being something to brag about. Fellow songwriter/producer Tom Krell, assuming the stage name How To Dress Well, opens. Tuesday, March 19. Doors at 7 p.m. U Street Music Hall, 1115A U St. NW. Tickets are $15. Call 202-588-1880 or visit ustreetmusichall.com.
