Georgia’s Tybee Island holds inaugural gay event

Located just a half-hour drive from Savannah, Georgia’s Tybee Island is gay-welcoming, but has not developed a reputation as a “gay destination.” That might change with the island’s first Tybee Gay Days.

Being held May 3 to 5, Tybee Gay Days will included evening parties, a brunch and an afternoon tea dance. In addition, there will be scheduled times for participants to meet-up and enjoy the island’s beautiful beaches.

The weekend’s activities are being organzied by GaySavannah.com, an online magazine and business directory for the LGBT community in and around Savannah.

Additional information about Tybee Gay Days is available at gaysavannah.com/tybee-gay-days, and general informaiton on Tybee Island is available at visittybee.com.
