— Spice Girls singer Mel B, when asked whether she knew any women who have had same-sex relationships in the past. Mel B, full name Melanie Brown, was appearing on British talk show Chatty Man with host Alan Carr, who asked whether she considered herself a lesbian. “I would not call it that,” she responded. “I was just one of those ladies. Now I’m happily married.” Currently appearing as a judge on The X Factor in the U.K., Brown is married to Stephen Belafonte, with whom she has three children.
