Joel Grey confirms sexuality: “I’m a gay man”

“I don’t like labels, but if you have to put a label on it, I’m a gay man.”

Joel Grey, award-winning actor and Broadway star, in an exclusive interview with People magazine. Grey, who was married for 24 years and has two children, has opened up on his decision to finally come out at aged 82. People reports that his friends and family are already aware, but Grey has deliberately kept his sexuality from being made public. “All the people close to me have known for years who I am,” Grey said. “[Yet] it took time to embrace that other part of who I always was.”
