Pat Robertson: Don’t attend your child’s gay wedding

“It’s not heterosexual. You don’t agree with it, you got to stand there and be a witness to it. By your attendance at the ceremony, you are agreeing.”

–Pat Robertson, host of The 700 Club, responding to an email of parent who said she and her partner were conflicted over whether to attend their child’s same-sex wedding.

As Raw Story reports, the televangelist and founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network opposed either parent attending the wedding. “Just wouldn’t go. I would tell your child, ‘I love you, but I cannot condone this.'” he stated, adding that both parents should oppose the wedding in “unity.”
