Anti-gay activist: Gay rights an “anti-God movement” and a “sin movement”

Peter LaBarbera believes that gay rights are "a liberal cult"

Peter LaBarbera

“This homosexual revolution. Everybody’s joining it.”

Peter LaBarbera, anti-gay activist and president of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, speaking on the Jesse Lee Peterson Radio Show. LaBarbera told radio host and fellow anti-gay activist Matt Barber that the gay rights movement is not only a “liberal cult,” but also “an anti-God movement” and a “sin movement.” LaBarbera’s hate, however, does not discriminate to only gay individuals. In fact, the conservative activist believes that African American acceptance of queer folks has “infested the black community.”

“Black leaders have completely sold out to the radical LGBT lobby and are complicit in making these illegitimate comparisons,” he said. “I sort of see this as a liberal cult, this homosexual revolution. Everybody’s joining it.”

LaBarbera believes that the gay agenda has taken over businesses and may soon drag Christians down with it.

“We’re in a cult here, it’s a liberal cult, and a lot of corporate America has bent the knee,” he said. “Matt, you think over half the evangelical Christians will accommodate themselves to this sin movement, and I fear you’re right.”

Americans for Truth About Homosexuality has been proudly attacking the “homosexual activist agenda” since 1996. The group is dedicated to enforcing “God-ordained sexuality” and answers pertinent questions on their website such as: “what impacts does ‘gay marriage’ have on you?”

AFTAH, which says that “embracing homosexual or transgender lifestyles/behaviors is a very bad and destructive choice,” is listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
