A gay nurse has parodied The Sound of Music in a hilarious video that should be one of your new Favorite Things.

Otis Morgan brought together friends and health advocates to film a spoof of one of the musical’s most popular songs, “Do-Re-Mi.”

The 42-year-old San Francisco nurse created the video to raise money and awareness for AIDS/LifeCycle in June. Morgan will be one of 3,000 cyclists that will ride 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles over seven days in June.

AIDS/LifeCycle raises funds for the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the San Francisco Aids Foundation.

“The goal… is to END the transmission of the disease with zero new HIV infections,” Morgan told Gay Star News. “The San Francisco AIDS Foundation are getting there by helping all HIV positive people become undetectable.

“They also help all sexually active HIV negative people get on PrEP,” he continued. “Their cases of new HIV infections are dramatically decreasing every year. A lot of that is due to the ride.”

The Sound of Music is the fourth musical he has parodied to sponsor the AIDS/LifeCycle, Morgan has also done spoofs of Mary Poppins, Xanadu, and Grease.
